Once again I trust
I hang out on the limb
Save me please, reach out your hand
Gently bring me down
I'm hanging by a thread
Yet the rain begins
as I hold on tight
Praying you will show mercy
Without hesitation
you step out from your shadow
grasping your sword
you slice the branch
your eyes locked in on me
as I fall to the ground
I am once again
betrayed.
